CLV tracking, steam detection,
and reverse line movement data

Full tick-level odds history from open to close across FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, and Caesars. The raw data to build a CLV tracker, identify steam moves, and quantify reverse line movement patterns — across every major league.

CLV tracking

Closing line value is the most reliable long-run signal of betting skill. It measures whether your bet prices were better than the market's final consensus — without needing to wait for results to validate your edge.

When your line (green) is consistently above the close (blue), you're beating the market. That's positive CLV — the strongest evidence of real betting edge.

Steam move detection

A steam move is a rapid, coordinated line shift across multiple books triggered by sharp money. With full tick-level data, you can detect these signals in real time or backtest historical steam patterns.

STEAM = rapid multi-book move · RLM = reverse line movement (public one way, line moves the other)

Reverse line movement

When the majority of public bets are on one side but the line moves the other way, that's reverse line movement — a classic sharp money signal. Historical RLM data lets you backtest how reliable this signal is by league, sport, and market type.
